Hi, and thanks so much for stopping by The Bates Family Blog! I'm Ashley, the creator/author of this site. I don't know the Bates in any way, I'm simply a blogger with a goal of providing factual information and regular updates about the Bates family and their show!

Aside from working on this site, I enjoy reading, photography, cooking/baking, and running/walking. I'm also a student with plenty of schoolwork to work on! My goal with this blog is to be a positive influence and keep fans of Gil, Kelly, and their kids in the know. If you have any questions about

      I am glad to see The Bates coming on TV. Hopefully Mr. Bates won't spend each so show making crude remarks about sex that Jim Bob Duggar does, such as. When Jim Bob Duggar was asked what Jill Duggar and her then fiancé Derek were looking forward to in marriage, Jim Bob said I know what Derek is looking forward too. Who says that about their own daughter. I am on team Bates!
